Welcome to TIZI. We want every guest to enjoy a safe, peaceful and memorable stay. By completing your registration and accepting these terms, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

1. Guest Registration & Identification

All guests must be properly registered in accordance with applicable Moroccan laws and regulations.

Each guest must provide a valid passport, Moroccan National Identity Card (CIN), or other identification acceptable under applicable law at check-in. Guests certify that the identity, occupancy and registration information provided to TIZI is accurate and complete.

TIZI Operations SARL may be required to record, retain or communicate certain guest identification and accommodation information to competent Moroccan authorities.

Only properly registered guests may occupy a guest room overnight. Visitors may be required to present identification and register with reception before accessing guest accommodation areas.

2. Moroccan Couples & Marriage Documentation

TIZI operates in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Moroccan couples may be requested to present valid documentation of marriage at check-in where TIZI determines that such documentation is required or appropriate under applicable Moroccan law, regulation, official guidance or local administrative requirements.

Guests who believe this requirement may apply to them are encouraged to contact TIZI before arrival.

TIZI reserves the right to refuse shared-room accommodation where providing the accommodation would, in TIZI’s reasonable determination, conflict with applicable Moroccan law or a binding requirement of a competent authority.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 12:00 PM (noon) unless otherwise agreed by TIZI.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Guests must return room keys and other TIZI property upon departure.

4. Rates, Payment & Guest Account

Rates and additional services are quoted in the applicable currency and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Government, tourism or other mandatory charges may be added where required by law.

Prices may change until a reservation has been confirmed. Promotional rates and special offers are subject to their stated conditions.

The registered guest is responsible for accommodation charges and all food and beverage, activities, transportation, services, taxes and other charges properly incurred by the guest or authorized to be charged to the room.

Any outstanding balance must be settled before departure.

Where permitted by applicable law and the relevant payment provider, TIZI may pre-authorize or charge the payment method provided for legitimate amounts associated with the reservation or stay, including accommodation, taxes, unpaid charges, documented property damage or extraordinary cleaning costs.

5. Damage, Missing Property & Extraordinary Cleaning

Guests must treat TIZI’s rooms, furnishings, equipment, artwork and other property with reasonable care.

Subject to applicable law, the registered guest may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing TIZI property intentionally damaged, removed or damaged through negligence by the guest, members of their party or their visitors.

TIZI may also charge reasonable costs for extraordinary cleaning resulting from serious misuse of a room or other hotel facilities. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

Where practicable, TIZI will provide supporting information regarding material damage or cleaning charges.

6. Personal Property & Valuables

Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care of their luggage, cash, jewelry, electronic devices, passports and other personal belongings.

Guests are encouraged to use secure storage facilities provided by TIZI and to report lost, stolen or damaged property promptly to management.

TIZI’s liability for loss, theft or damage to guest property remains subject to applicable Moroccan law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Property Characteristics, Accessibility & Guest Safety

TIZI is situated within the traditional architectural and natural environment of Aït Ben Haddou. The property may contain stairs, terraces, changes in elevation, uneven or traditional flooring and surfaces, gardens, swimming areas and other architectural features characteristic of the property and its location.

Guests should exercise reasonable care, observe safety notices and follow reasonable instructions from TIZI staff. Any condition believed to present a safety risk should be reported promptly to reception.

Due to the property’s architectural characteristics, certain areas or accommodations may not be fully accessible. Guests requiring accessibility accommodations or special assistance are encouraged to contact TIZI before arrival so that reasonable efforts can be made to accommodate their needs.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or statutory right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Moroccan law.

8. Swimming Pool & Recreational Areas

Use of the swimming pool and recreational areas is subject to posted rules and reasonable safety instructions.

Guests must exercise appropriate care. Running, dangerous behavior, diving where prohibited, glassware in designated pool areas and other unsafe conduct are prohibited.

Children and persons requiring assistance must be appropriately supervised.

9. Children & Minors

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied or supervised as required by applicable law.

Parents, guardians and accompanying responsible adults are responsible for the appropriate supervision and conduct of minors in their care.

Particular care must be exercised around swimming areas, stairs, terraces, roads and other areas presenting an inherent risk. Children must not use the swimming pool or participate in activities requiring supervision without appropriate adult supervision.

TIZI may request documentation relating to guardianship where reasonably appropriate or required by law.

10. Visitors

Non-registered visitors may be required to present valid identification and register with reception.

TIZI may restrict visitor access to guest-room areas for security, privacy, occupancy or legal compliance reasons.

Guests are responsible for the conduct of visitors they invite onto the property, subject to applicable law.

11. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Guests with food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements should inform TIZI staff before ordering food or beverages.

TIZI will take reasonable precautions when informed of an allergy or dietary requirement. However, the kitchen handles multiple ingredients and the complete absence of cross-contact cannot always be guaranteed.

Guests with severe allergies should inform management upon arrival.

12. Smoking & Fire Safety

Smoking is permitted only in areas designated by TIZI.

Smoking in a designated non-smoking guest room or prohibited indoor area may result in a reasonable extraordinary cleaning charge.

Candles, unauthorized incense, cooking equipment, open flames or other fire hazards may not be used in guest rooms without TIZI’s express authorization.

Guests must comply with posted fire, evacuation and emergency instructions.

13. Guest Conduct

TIZI is intended to provide a peaceful and respectful environment.

Guests must respect other guests, employees, contractors, neighbors, the local community and the property.

Excessive noise, threatening or abusive behavior, harassment, deliberate property damage, illegal activity or conduct that materially compromises the safety, privacy or comfort of others is prohibited.

Subject to applicable law, TIZI may require a guest to leave the property following a serious or repeated violation of these policies. Legitimately incurred charges remain payable.

14. Excursions, Transportation & Third-Party Services

TIZI may assist guests in arranging transportation, guides, excursions, desert activities and other services provided by independent third parties.

Where a service is provided by an independent operator, that operator is responsible for providing its service subject to its own terms and applicable law.

Guests should communicate any accessibility or other requirements affecting their participation before using such services.

Nothing in this provision limits obligations imposed directly upon TIZI by applicable law.

15. Photography, Drones & Commercial Content

Personal photography is welcome provided guests respect the privacy of other guests, staff and members of the local community.

Professional photography, commercial productions, organized photo shoots, drones, or use of TIZI’s property, name, trademarks or identity for commercial purposes requires prior authorization from TIZI.

TIZI will not use an identifiable guest’s photograph or video for marketing purposes without appropriate permission.

16. Personal Data & Privacy

TIZI Operations SARL processes personal information for legitimate purposes associated with operating the establishment, including reservations, guest identification and registration, billing and payment, guest communications and services, property security, legal compliance and communications with competent authorities where required or permitted by law.

Information collected may include identification information, contact details, reservation and stay information, transaction information and other information reasonably necessary to provide accommodation and comply with applicable law.

Personal information may, where necessary and legally permitted, be provided to competent Moroccan authorities and service providers acting on behalf of TIZI Operations SARL.

Personal information will be retained only as necessary for these purposes and for any additional period required by applicable law.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable Moroccan data-protection legislation, including Law No. 09-08. Where applicable, guests may exercise their rights under Moroccan data-protection law, including applicable rights of access and rectification, by contacting TIZI Operations SARL.

TIZI does not sell guest personal information.

17. CCTV & Security

For the safety and security of guests, employees and property, TIZI may operate video surveillance in designated public and security-sensitive areas.

CCTV will not be installed in guest rooms, bathrooms or other areas where guests reasonably expect complete privacy.

CCTV processing and retention will be conducted in accordance with applicable Moroccan data-protection requirements, and appropriate notices will be displayed where required.

18. Guest Communications & SMS

TIZI may use the mobile number provided by a guest to send operational communications relating to the guest’s reservation or stay, including reservation information, check-in instructions, arrival information, room-readiness notifications, access information, guest-service communications and responses to guest requests.

Where SMS functionality permits, guests may opt out by replying STOP and may request assistance by replying HELP.

Mobile information and messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Acceptance of these accommodation terms does not constitute consent to receive promotional marketing communications. Any marketing consent will be requested separately where applicable.

19. Hotel Events & Changes to Services

TIZI may host private events, retreats, cultural gatherings or other functions during a guest’s stay.

Reasonable efforts will be made to minimize disruption. However, occasional noise, restricted access to certain areas or modified operating hours may occur.

TIZI may reasonably modify the availability of facilities, amenities or services where operational circumstances require.

20. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

TIZI will make reasonable efforts to provide confirmed accommodation and services.

Subject to guests’ mandatory rights under applicable law, TIZI is not responsible for failure, interruption or delay caused by circumstances genuinely beyond its reasonable control, which may include severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flooding, governmental actions, interruption of essential public infrastructure, labor disruptions, civil unrest, transportation disruptions or other qualifying events beyond TIZI’s reasonable control.

Where necessary, TIZI may modify or cancel affected services or reservations in accordance with applicable law.

21. Governing Law & Disputes

Guests are encouraged to notify TIZI management promptly of any concern during their stay so that TIZI has an opportunity to address it.

The guest’s reservation, accommodation, stay and these terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Any unresolved dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Moroccan law and submitted to the competent Moroccan authorities or courts having jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights available to the guest.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. TIZI’s failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Nothing contained in these terms is intended to waive, restrict or exclude any consumer, privacy, contractual or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived, restricted or excluded.

22. Guest Acknowledgment

By completing registration, accepting these terms or signing the guest registration form, I confirm that:

• The registration and identification information I have provided is accurate and complete.
• I have been given the opportunity to read these Terms & House Policies.
• I understand the principal rules governing my stay.
• I agree to comply with TIZI’s reasonable house, security and safety policies.
• I accept responsibility for charges properly incurred by me or authorized to my room.
• I understand that nothing in these terms removes rights granted to me under applicable Moroccan law.
